Juneteenth Festival Is This Saturday In Minneapolis

The Juneteenth Festival observes the June 19th 1865 proclamation of the abolition of slavery in Texas. This celebrates the freedom for people of all racial backgrounds. This Festival draws thousands of people every year. Not only will there be lots of food and entertainment, there will also be focus on culture and history. 

Juneteenth is celebrated as a state holiday in 42 states in the USA, and it's one of the oldest holidays commemorating the end of slavery.
